There are several ways you can pay for products:

Paying using a
Credit or Debit Card

Paying using a Credit or Debit Card BY TELEPHONE:

Please call 01798 815 960 (international: +44 (0)1798 815 960) during normal UK office hours and we will take your credit/debit card details for processing through our terminal.

Paying using a Credit or Debit Card ON-LINE:

We accept most major credit or debit cards online, courtesy of the PayPal Shopping Cart system. YOU DO NOT NEED A PAYPAL ACCOUNT to purchase at our online store using your credit or debit card...

... just select the "continue" link beside "Don't have a PayPal account? Use your credit card or bank account (where available)” This is just above the VISA/Mastercard logos, bottom left of the "proceed to checkout" screen (ignore the PayPal account holders login which is normally over on the right). On the screens which follow you will be prompted to enter your postage, card and billing details, then click "Continue Checkout" when ready.

NOTE: If you get stuck because you want to pay by credit/debit card but the PayPal shopping cart system recognises your email address as being associated with a PayPal account (and you may have forgotten your PayPal login), either change to a different email address if you have one, or call us on 01798 815 960 and we will take your card details over the phone.

Review your order to confirm the total credit/debit card charge, then click "Pay".

When complete, you will be able to return to our website and continue shopping, if desired.

You will receive confirmation of your payment by email.

Your credit/debit card statement will show PILOT DESIGN as the supplier of the goods which you ordered.

Please note that during the checkout process, customers using a credit/debit card may be given the opportunity to sign up for a PayPal account but this is only optional. You can complete your credit/debit payment first, and then decide whether to save your information in a PayPal account for future purchases. PayPal offers extensive protection against fraudulent transactions from your account (see Online Security below).

Paying
by Cheque

Paying by Cheque

(Option available to customers paying in GB £ Pounds Sterling only. If you would like to pay using a different currency, a currency conversion facility is available during the final stages of checkout process when paying online with a credit / debit card, or when using a PayPal account):

Include a dated note outlining the products required, their prices including VAT as shown on this website at that date, and their Product Code numbers (shown close to every product near the buying/shopping cart buttons).

Remember to include your contact details (name, address, daytime telephone number and, optionally, your email address) with your payment. We will only use your telephone number in the event of a problem or query with your order.

Remember to include Postage & Packing (Shipping) costs, as follows:
• UK customers: £4.50 (incl. VAT) on every order.
• EU customers: £10.50 (incl. VAT) on every order.
• USA customers: £12.50 (incl. VAT) on every order.
• Rest of the World: currently under review (please contact us).

Paying using an
existing PayPal account

Paying using an existing PayPal account:

If you would prefer to pay using an existing PayPal account, you can select that option on the first checkout screen. Enter the email address which is associated with your PayPal account then enter your PayPal password and click "Continue".

Review your postage and billing information on the following screen(s) and confirm the order total. Click "Pay" to complete the payment.

You will receive payment confirmation by email.

You will be able to return to our website and continue shopping, if desired.

Your PayPal statement will show PILOT DESIGN as the supplier of the goods which you ordered.

Secure online transactions:

Our online shopping cart system is powered by PayPal. This enables payments to be made securely either by using an existing PayPal account or by using most major credit or debit cards (without any need for a PayPal account).

To help you keep track of your account activity, PayPal sends an email confirmation of every account transaction. In the unlikely event of receiving confirmation of a transaction you don’t recognise, PayPal's dedicated customer support team will be there to help you.

With PayPal you can pay without ever sharing financial information with sellers. A unique benefit of paying with PayPal is that merchants like us receive payments without ever seeing your financial or credit/debit card details.

PayPal helps you stay safe when paying by Credit/Debit card:

PayPal's fraud prevention measures remain in effect for buyers whether they are paying using their existing PayPal account or whether they are 'new' buyers who wish to purchase using a credit or debit card. PayPal applies the same security techniques for both methods of payment.

Security Tip!

When you are entering personal information or financial details online, make sure you are on a secure website (look for https:// in the URL - i.e. the beginning of the website's address. The 's' stands for 'secure', by the way, denoting a 'secure server'). Our website uses PayPal's shopping cart system and credit/debit card transaction processing facilities, so you are in the very best hands (a staggering 100 million people use PayPal). You will see https:// in the URL of the payment pages on our site and also the "padlock" on the bottom right hand corner of your screen, both denoting a secure server connection).

Another security Tip!

NEVER click links in emails which you receive perporting to come from financial institutions such as banks, building societies and online merchants such as PayPal. Even if they seem realistic enough, you should always use your web browser (e.g. Internet Explorer or Firefox etc.) to navigate to the site, rather than going to it from links in emails. Always log in manually in private, on a private computer, and make sure you always log out properly and close your browser when you have finished. To recap, PayPal will NEVER ask you to confirm your password in an email so avoid being tricked by such scams - such scam emails are rife, whichever bank, building society, merchant or online service you bank with. Never click email links to such institutions!

Paying in a
foreign currency

Paying in a currency other than GB £ Pounds Sterling:

Our website is priced in GB £ Pounds Sterling. However, if you would like to pay using a currency other than GB £ Pounds Sterling, a currency conversion facility is available during the final stages of the checkout process when paying online with either a credit/debit card, or a PayPal account.

(If paying by cheque, please note that we currently only accept payments in GB Pounds £ Sterling).
